THE DESIGN
KNCC is one of the largest party halls in Agra. The architect wanted to create the hall with classy exteriors for high profile weddings which would have a low maintenance cost. The combination of ACP and glazing looks dynamic with the colours used. The perforated patterns give a magical look on being backlit. Aludecor developed a product which complies with the demanding requirements of the project specification. The height of the building is 28 ft. In this Marriage hall, the Architect used Sand Series ACP sheet of Aludecor. The grains in the sand finish panels shine when light falls on them. In this facade, we used two colours of ACP i.e. Ivory sand and Shadow grey. Total ACP used in the building was 27560 sq. feet.
THE ARCHITECT
Architect Mr. Yashbeer who is the site architect wanted his design of KNCC marriage hall to give the owner value for his money.
He has 10 years of experience in the construction industry.

THE CHALLENGES
Problems were faced with ventilation. The fully air-conditioned hall needed some exhaustion for hot air circulation near the false ceiling and the ducts. The perforations were not possible in the glass. The architect thus suggested providing the ventilation through CNC cutting in ACP sheets. The best thing about ACP sheets is that they don’t lose any strength even after perforations and are still strong enough to bear any wind load or stress deflection. So a horizontal layer of 4 feet ACPs served the purpose of exhausting the hot air.
MECHANISM
For, KNCC site we’ve have done MS framing first of 25×25 mm tubes. Then used 25×50 mm tubes as a base for ACP sheet after that with rout and return method as they have pasted the sheet on tubes with double architectural tape and screw it on tubes and silicon is provided in the joints for pasting and to cover the screw also.
THE RESULT
The façade of the hall looks aesthetic and is also capable of withstanding harsh weather conditions.
