The Adorner: Tomorrow Needs Insulated ACPs

Mr. Raman Sikka, Associate Principal of Sikka Associates Architects opines that ACPs with insulation built into it is a need for tomorrow. ‘Why leave it to the people at the site to try it as a fabricated solution when the ACP manufacturing companies can manufacture and sell it as a composite solution?’ – asks Mr. Sikka, adding ‘I am sure you will be able to do it much better, more efficiently and in a cost-effective way as well.’ According to him, ACP with half an inch to one-inch thick insulation is the kind of product that is required today. Also, corners and jointing of insulated ACP are much better owing to the greater panel thickness.
