In the bustling streets of Kolkata, nestled near the Nepalgunj Road near IIM Joka, Kolkata, lies a beacon of hope and education – Adhigam Bhoomi, a free residential learning centre exclusively for girls. This sanctuary of knowledge is not just a school; it’s a testament to the strong dedication to redefine rural education in India. And recently, through one its CSR activities of Aludecor, the company associated with the NGO ‘Help Us Help Them’ to donate 3000 trees for the school campus. Apart from being the most trusted ACP sheet manufacturer in India, Aludecor has always been associated with CSR activities that are meaningful and has a holistic approach towards making the lives of our fellow citizens better.
At Aludecor, we believe in giving back to the society that has contributed to our success. Our CSR policy isn’t just a checkbox; it’s a commitment to creating a more sustainable and equitable world. Through various CSR projects, we continually endeavour to make a positive impact, whether it’s in education, environmental conservation, or community development.
Our recent CSR activity, a collaboration with “Help Us Help Them,” is a shining example of this commitment. The organization, led by Mukti Gupta and her dedicated team of seven friends – Ashish Choudhary, Ravi Dugar, Megha Modi, Priti Gupta, Karan Goenka, and Swati Sarawagi, has been working tirelessly for two decades to redefine rural education in India.
Adhigam Bhoomi isn’t just a school; it’s a holistic learning environment where every child is nurtured according to their unique abilities. With a blend of alternative learning and Vedic education, coupled with emotional well-being and happiness at its core, Adhigam Bhoomi aims to foster not just academic excellence but also a deep connection with nature. And it’s this connection with nature that we sought to enhance through our CSR initiative.

As Mukti Gupta expressed her gratitude for our CSR activity, it was evident that these plants were more than just greenery. They were a vital component of Adhigam Bhoomi’s vision – a vision deeply rooted in Rabindranath Tagore’s philosophy of learning in harmony with nature. With mud walls, bamboo structures, and recycled furniture, Adhigam Bhoomi embodies eco-friendly living.
The plants donated by us through the CSR activity aren’t just for decoration; they’re an integral part of the school’s curriculum. From Ayurvedic herbs like neem and amla to fruit-bearing trees, these plants will not only enrich the girls’ lives but also educate them about traditional medicine and sustainable living.
Our gesture goes beyond just planting trees; it’s about sowing the seeds of change and nurturing them to fruition. By supporting this one-of-a-kind institution, Aludecor stamps its stand as a benevolent contributor to the future of India.
As much as we are dedicated into being the top ACP sheet manufacturer, we stand strongly rooted to our purpose of the journey which is bettering the lives of the people and being responsible towards our planet. Let’s remember that each small act of kindness has the power to transform lives and create a better world for generations to come. Together, let’s continue to work towards a more sustainable and equitable society, where every child has the opportunity to thrive and succeed.
