Inspiration and Aims
Oxygen Business Park has in its core, a passion and demand for environmentally friendly designs that would fetch the structure, a LEED Gold Energy Efficient (at least 60-79 points) rating. At its inception, the designers planned maximum light penetration into the construction of Tower III, the heart of Oxygen Business Park. The plan was further enhanced with the usage of Aludecor ACP sheets, which elevated the aesthetics as well as allowing better efficiencies for air conditioning.
Design and Aesthetics
To take a walk through the structure, one might notice the flood of sunlight coming in, making the ambience spark up with energy and optimism. The abundance of the sun ensures energy-efficient practices, while the usage of ACPs further guarantees natural heat insulation. The washrooms and the staircase of Tower III have been tucked into the interiors of the building, thus allowing a steady inflow of natural sunlight.

“We have used the ACP as a frame, within which the glass sits. If you actually see the building, for both the Tower III and Tower II, you will notice that the ACP is the Hero Element which ties up the glass together” says D. Vishwanathan.
The columns have been fully clad with ACP sheets to give it a majestic look. The porch, where most office-goers get dropped off by transports, boasts an ACP clad soffit. These structures were built tactfully to welcome the sedentary workers into an inviting office environment.
Safety and Durability
Aludecor’s Fire Retardant ACPs, an integral part of the Oxygen Business Park have guaranteed excellent fire retardant properties. With Mineral Core, these sandwich panels can stop the rapid spread of fire while ensuring zero toxic fumes. Besides, a Mineral Core also means that there are lesser chances of rapidly spreading fire disasters hampering business and human lives.

“Although Fire retardant ACPs are being treated as a sheer luxury in the contemporary Indian society, the day is near when this will be the only variety of ACP made mandatory to be used for structures. Fire retardant ACPs ensure fire safety norms are well taken care of.”
