Aludecor’s core purpose lies in supporting a sustainable future while contributing to the well-being of mother earth and future generations. Aligned with this very purpose, Aludecor Cares, the CSR wing of Aludecor, has been reaching out to many with different initiatives across the country. Be it Tree Plantation at large scale, Installing Deep Water Tube-well or even reaching out to the underprivileged ones, Aludecor Cares has been instrumental in bringing differences in the lives of many.
Recently, Aludecor Cares has partnered with Kathakali Swapnapooran Welfare Society, an NGO that runs schools in Sundarbans, to provide education kits to over 300 (nursery, lower kindergarten, and upper kindergarten) underprivileged children at Hingalganj village in North 24 Parganas district in West Bengal.
Lack of infrastructure has always been a hindrance for education in remote places. Fuelled by parents’ lack of awareness and knowledge, these children are not being encouraged to rise up to their fullest potential. Realising the need to provide the right tool, Aludecor Cares has created this unique idea of raising them equally from the beginning.
This initiative will not only make these learners fundamentally strong, but it would also help the parents to learn the scientific and holistic way of teaching. As most of the children are first-generation learners, these kits are indeed helpful for their experiential learning.

As part of Aludecor’s commitment towards sustainable development and to provide quality education to children at the pre-primary and primary levels, these kits are made for faster learning and adapting and to increase parents’ participation in holistic well-being.
Expressing his joy over such an initiative, the CMD of Aludecor, Ashok Kumar Bhaiya, says, “At Aludecor, it has always been our effort to make young generations’ conscious and skilled’. This Education Kit project is thus a way forward to reach out to those children who deserve a better education. From an early age, if we help them to adapt the right way, the future will be different.”
This uniquely & scientifically designed kit comprises flashcards and worksheets for three core subjects – English, Bengali and Mathematics along with Parents’ timesheets to track usage. With an objective to provide home learning aids to children at the pre-primary and primary level, these kits subsequently will help the children to truly understand concepts through activity-based (experiential) learning as part of the “Quality Education” mandate. This will also give parents the means to engage with their children in studies, irrespective of their educational background.

Parents are equally jubilant in receiving such kits from Aludecor. Such kinds of kits would definitely help them to understand their kids’ progression better. “The whole set seems to be really helpful. These kits are easy to understand and visually appealing, bringing my child’s attention towards these sheets. Nowadays, they are spending more time on it. , says the parent of Rifath, a student of Lower kindergarten of Swapnapooran Shiksha Niketan.
Aludecor firmly believes in honouring and acknowledging the contribution of its extended family – channel partners and business members. At Aludecor, each member takes pride in sharing the joy of giving. As a rare ritual, all the CSR activities are therefore dedicated to these Channel Partners and members, which widens the scope of more significant participation in bringing changes.
