Sandwich panels of Aluminium are made of a core, and two Aluminium skins pasted on each side of the ACP sheet. The top coat of Aludecor ACP sheets is painted using the Double Coat Double Bake method that ensures zero crack risks. Aludecor ACP sheets are painted using world-class paints from PPG, Beckers, Nippon, and Akzo Nobel and are sourced within India. Our paints consist of Pigment, Binder (Resin) and Solvent. Aludecor ACP sheets are painted using both organic and inorganic paints. While our organic pigments are high on gloss and the “prettiness” factor, our inorganic pigments are more durable.
Next comes the Solvent which we use to dissolve polymers and adjust the paint viscosity with. It is volatile in nature, and thus it does not become a part of the finished product. Solvent’s primary purpose is to carry the non-volatile compounds.

At Aludecor, we use Binders such as PVDF (Poly Vinyl Diene Fluoride) and Lumiflon/FEVE (Fluoro Ethylene Vinyl Ether). Binders show excellent weathering resistance qualities, UV light resistance, high thermal and chemical resistance and adequate moisture and fungus resistance.
PVDF and FEVE both retain their gloss and colour exceptionally well as it meets the performance requirements of AAMA 2605.
