Aludecor Sources Raw Materials from India
As a “Make in India” brand, we source all of our raw materials from India. We are proud to be sourcing our pigments from AkzoNobel (Bangalore), Beckers (Goa) and PPG (Mumbai) having their full-fledged operations in India. We also use Hindalco (Aditya Birla Group) produced Aluminium Coils for the production of all of our Aluminium Composite Panels.
Aludecor has Introduced the First Indigenously Researched and Developed FR A2 Grade ACPs in India
At Aludecor we boast the stature of being the first “Make in India” company to have introduced indigenously researched and developed Fire-retardant FireWall and FireWall A2 Metal Composite Panels. Our FireWall A2 MCP core contains more than 90% inorganic mineral content which imbibes it with fireproof properties similar to metals while Aludecor FireWall MCP core boasts more than 71% mineral content. Our FireWall Series of MCPs do not produce toxic smoke that causes respiratory problems and blurs vision. There are zero flaming droplets and negligible heat release for safe evacuation during unfortunate fire incidents.
FireWall and FireWall A2 cores are developed in-house at our Haridwar factories and to maintain stringent quality check measures we make sure to run several tests such as the miniature Baby Line Prototype Test, Ignitability Test, Non-Combustibility Test, LOI Test, and Smoke Density Test. Aludecor FireWall A2 has Factory Production Control certification from Exova Warringtonfire of the UK (ewcl5) for reaction to fire classifications of EN 13501-1 Class A2 – s1, d0. Currently, we are also running a successful #BeatTheFire campaign that urges the Indian Government to review the NBC 2016 policies for enhanced Building Fire Safety protocols.
Aludecor has Introduced Copper Composite Panels and Zinc Composite Panels in the Indian Market
Aludecor has successfully introduced Copper Composite Panels and Zinc Composite Panels in the Indian Market. While Aludecor Zinc Composite Panels are praised for its regal appearance and its self-healing features, Aludecor Copper Composite Panels are hailed praises for its powerful anti-microbial properties. When a microbial particle ends up on a Copper surface, electrically charged particles, that are Copper ions, start to work by hindering the cell respiration of the microbial body. Bacterial cell membranes are punctured by Copper ions, and viral coats are destroyed in order to expose and diminish the RNA or DNA. Copper ions kill virus bodies at such a fast rate that the virus bodies never get any chance to mutate or grow resistance to the Copper surfaces. Furthermore, Copper ions also resist bacteria from transferring resistant genes to other bacteria cells. Once the Copper ions come in contact with the bacterial body, the latter releases Hydrogen Peroxide. Now, Hydrogen Peroxide reacts with the Copper ion to produce reactive Oxygen, which directly kills the multiplying bacterial cells.

Thanks to these properties, Copper Composite Panels are being used exhaustively in hospitals, industrial kitchens, and the pharmaceutical industry. Copper surfaces are proven to resist ESKAPE pathogens as well as MRSA. Besides, Aludecor Copper Composite Panels are an excellent choice to be installed in high traffic areas. Copper surfaces showed a 90% reduction in live microbial bodies in busy hospitals that see a tremendous amount of touch surfaces and traffic, all year long.
India’s First Anti-bacterial ACPs – Aludecor’s AG+ Series of ACPs
Aludecor has introduced the first-ever anti-bacterial Aluminium composite Panels in the Indian Cladding Industry. Aludecor’s AG+ Series of ACPs are coated with a Silver fortified paint coating that offers exceptional anti-bacterial protection across the material’s surface.
The Silver paint contains the efficacy of Silver ions to arrest the growth of MRSA, E.Coli, Salmonella, Legionella, Black Mould, Biofilm and other strands of Fungi. The AG+ gets activated when it comes in contact with a damp environment (an excellent catalyst of bacterial growth). Having cleared the 10-year accelerated ageing test, Aludecor AG+ Series of ACPs offer years after years of efficient protection for you and your loved ones.
Vast Range of Colours and Textures
Aludecor has 350+ shades of MCPs in its repertoire. The introduction of the Double Coat Double Bake Line in 2006 has placed Aludecor as the first user and proponent of the technology in the ACP Industry. The Double Coat Double Bake method ensures zero elongation cracks on primer and paint surface by resulting in better bonding and increased longevity even under the most extreme weather conditions. Besides, we are the first Company to have introduced 3D finish ACPs- the Cortina Series in India.
Aludecor has revolutionized the Indian ACP industry with the Sand Series ACP. Having a unique texture, Aludecor Sand Series ACPs have also been nominated for European Aluminium Awards 2015. A pioneer in its category, the rough matte feel was first introduced to India by Aludecor. Aludecor Sand Series ACPs are available in AL-45, AL-43 and AL-33 grades that boasts 3mm and 4mm thickness.

Aludecor Sand Series ACP Sheets have been manufactured using Direct Chill processed Aluminium alloy which ensures minimal crack risks, best workability and unmatched flexibility. Besides, the ACP sheets are painted with Lead-free paints and then treated in the Double Coat Double Bake Line which hinders the chances of peeling off and cracks on the surface.
Aludecor possesses Superb Pre-Treatment Lines
Aludecor also boasts a powerful Pre-Treatment line, which helps them to maintain their stature as the leader of the Indian ACP industry. Aludecor uses the best available products for Degreasing, Deoxidizing and Chromatizing the Aluminium coils to ensure enduring coating. The coil is made to pass through a series of 8 tanks where step by step it is subjected to Henkel chemicals. This ensures the removal of oil and other impurities.
Impressive Lamination Lines
The impressive Lamination Lines at Aludecor’s Manufacturing Unit plays a huge role for them to come across as the Leaders of the Indian ACP industry. Aludecor is India’s only manufacturer which can produce fire rated core in-house along with regular LDPE cores for Aluminium Composite Panels, Zinc Composite Panels and Copper Composite Panels. It is equipped with five lamination lines.
