Rosé Salon Celebrates Tasteful Flamboyance with Aludecor WabiSabi Metal Composite Panels
The Rosé Salon in Gurgaon is a sanctuary for Women, who are celebrated throughout the design and architecture of the structure. As we come to the Entrance Gate of the Salon through the facade, we stand a moment to appreciate its rich beauty that has been elevated with strategically placed kite-shaped lamps.
The Rosé Salon is the brainchild of Sanchi Kapur, Principal Architect of Mass Void Architects, Gurgaon. Ar. Kapur walks us through the Design Philosophy that centres around feminine aesthetics and women-centric themes. The Salon has been designed with Kitschy elements that are tastefully flamboyant. Ar. Kapur has spent a considerable amount of time in London and thus has been inspired by Floral Motifs – the global trend symbol of unapologetic feminine fashion.
The interior of the Rosé Salon showcases modern furniture and floral aesthetic that is quintessentially women-centric. The Client wanted to open the Salon for his Wife as a tribute to her “Experiences as a Woman” – and Ar. Kapur justified every bit of the Client’s Requirement. The Salon is not a run of the mill design – it is different by design; it is praiseworthy and indeed “Instagram-able”.
Aludecor’s Wabi Sabi Series of ACPs in the shade MA-08 Béton White has been used extensively to clad the fascinating facade of the Rosé Salon. This particular shade has been inspired by “Brutalist Architecture” that celebrates the “nakedness” of iconic “Brutalist” design school of thought. The shade MA-08 Béton White contains golden undertone and hints of gold that goes well with the overall aesthetics.
The most challenging part of the entire process was to shape the kite lights, which increase the appeal of the facade. Ar. Kapur went through many trial and error methods, but Aludecor Aluminium Composite Panel’s easy workability helped her achieve the perfect design. All of the kite light has been made out of Aludecor ACP sheets. Ar. Kapur thus praises the light in weight, flexible material for its bendability.

What excites the creative mind of Ar. Kapur the most is her vast exposure to global design philosophies that involve different International grade colours, textures and innovation. In her own words “Aludecor’s Wabi Sabi Series of ACPs give wings to Indian Architects who were looking for these type of unique texture and hues for contemporary creations. The indigenously developed ACP offers the latest on-trend designs which were previously not available in India. Besides, we had to, of course, choose Aludecor Aluminium Composite Panels as we were sure that Aludecor ACPs would stand the test of time as well as lending beautiful textures to our design.“ Ar. Kapur also praises Aludecor for the Sampling Guidance that has enabled her to visualize designs better.
Aludecor feels proud to be part of the “Rosé ” experience. Our Wabi Sabi Series of ACPs aspire to beautify the exteriors and interiors of buildings that splurge to indulge into contemporary aesthetics. Aludecor Wabi-Sabi Series of Aluminium Composite Panels are available in AL-45, AL-43 and AL-33 grade.
